at my bank there are two people who speak english. one is a really nice small balding man who i feel like i annoy, and then there is Tom Cruise. when my co-teachers went to the bank one time they asked his name and that is the one that was given, so Tom Cruise he is.
the other day, the female co-teacher told me that he had hit on her saying that he was unhappy with his wife and was looking for a "friend" to hang out with away from his wife...
today i ran to the bank and he was the teller that i was assigned to. he asked me how life in korea was treating me, i said fine. i told him that today was my day off so i was just puttering around. i told him that my co-teachers were in Jaeju and he asked why i wasn't with them. i told him that since they are a couple i wasn't invited. he asked where my boyfriend was....my quick reply was...in america, haha. he asked me if i was in love. i said yes. he asked if i was meeting any guys here in korea and i said no, that my boyfriend was in america. he told me that i was a good woman. he asked if all american girls sleep around like on sex and the city and other shows that he had watched...
it was strange.
so, that was my day off. now i'm cleaning/organizing...
